Desire Horoche: A collaboration with Willow aka Clitopatra
The Horoche Tunnel Bag, one of the house’s inaugural designs, was conceived around negative space, not as absence, but as form. Structure frames meaning. What is left open carries as much weight as what is held.

It was this idea that drew artist Willow into the collaboration.

Born in China and now based in Australia, Willow’s practice exists between traditions. Her work moves fluidly between hand and screen, where traditional technique meets digital language, and where restraint sharpens expression.

Rather than intervening directly on the bag, Willow chose to respond to it.

She created an artwork in which the Tunnel Bag appears as subject,  held within layers of space and quiet tension. In her composition, the bag becomes both presence and pause, defined by the openness it creates rather than the space it occupies.
Empty space, in Willow’s work, is active. It shapes perception. It invites stillness.

Traditional gestures sit beside digital layering, each reinforcing the other. Brush and pixel coexist without hierarchy, forming a visual language that feels both grounded and contemporary.

The collaboration unfolds as dialogue, not decoration. The artwork does not explain the bag. The bag does not illustrate the artwork. Instead, they exist together — exhibited alongside one another and woven into campaign imagery as a shared expression.

The Tunnel Bag stands as a beginning, shaped by openness, control, and intention.

At Horoche, fashion is not meant to fill every space.
It is meant to define the ones that matter.
Where fashion meets art — stay connected.
